By purchasing, installing, or using the Haunted Mirror, the companion mobile app, or any AI Creations product, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Product
The Haunted Mirror is a motion-activated entertainment device intended for novelty and recreational use. It includes a Raspberry Pi single-board computer, display, speaker, motion sensor, and microphone, pre-loaded with content and connected to AI Creations cloud services for remote management.
Intended Use & Safety Warnings
- The Haunted Mirror produces sudden loud sounds and flashing visuals. Not recommended for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, heart conditions, anxiety disorders, or PTSD.
- Adult supervision required when used around children. Some content may not be appropriate for young children.
- Do not point the device at people who have not consented to being startled.
- Do not use in vehicles or any setting where being startled could cause injury.
- The device contains a lithium battery. Do not crush, puncture, expose to fire, or expose to extreme temperatures.
- Indoor use only. Not waterproof.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, abusive, or non-consensual content
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or stalk anyone
- Use the Service to scare anyone in a way that could foreseeably cause physical or emotional harm
- Reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with device firmware in ways that violate FCC regulations or compromise safety
- Resell or redistribute the Service or the device's cloud connection without written permission
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you upload (videos, audio, messages). By uploading, you grant AI Creations LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you.
Returns & Refunds
Hand-built launch units are returnable within 14 days of delivery if unused and in original condition. Customer pays return shipping. Defective units are covered by a 90-day workmanship warranty — we'll repair or replace at our cost. Email support@haunted-mirror.com to start a return.
Shipping
We ship to the United States only at this time. The Haunted Mirror contains a lithium battery and ships ground only — no air or expedited shipping is available. Hand-built units ship within 7-10 business days of order.
Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The mirror requires Wi-Fi and our cloud services to function fully. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue cloud features at any time, though we will provide reasonable notice for material changes.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Creations LLC's liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including emotional distress caused by intentional use of a scare device.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold AI Creations LLC harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the Service, including using it to harm or harass others.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Virginia.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
